You know what's been blowing my mind the past few days ?............... Gray Malin, the photographer with the big heart of talent and courage. I discovered him when I decided to watch the Today show. His work is amazing and time consuming. I am actually thinking about buying one of his photographs. All shot in Marfa,TX .

I'd like to escape to a place like this. 

I love this one so much. I have no idea what it is that makes me go crazy for this photograph.

I don't think I'd mind hitchhicking after shopping from Prada. I believe Prada is a good enough weapon to protect me should anything happen . But here is the thing that moved me the most about this man and his awesome vision. He started his career in a flea market and ended up getting noticed by some darling somewhere. You never know where small places and small goals can take you.

Are you happy about your work??

Good morning world !

I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine about his work and how unhappy he is with it. His best way of explaining this situation to me was " I'm just not happy waking up every morning just to do the same thing that is not making me happy." The thought of having to do that is horrifying but when you're actually living it and not even thinking about it , somehow it doesn't hit you into you the winter mornings, coming across someone who has a head start on something that you dream to do, or getting paid just to spend on living expenses. Those are the harsh realities. We all know it's a challenge to get out of bed when it's cold outside and without that extra motivation it's almost impossible and very depressing.
The only thing I could possibly tell my darling friend is the same thing I will like to tell you guys and gals today "It is hard but if you keep going with a big paper of small goals to big goals hanging on your wall and even without that it's all about your mental health. Somehow you gotta keep the strength to remind yourself that you are doing all that hard work for a reason. And that reason is to make your ultimate dream happen ! You gotta keep working into THE DAY YOU GET TO WAKE UP FOR EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED YOU'RE WHOLE LIFE"

To add a little humor to it I'm gunna tell you guys and gals my secret ! ........ I really enjoy compairng myself to my favorite or even random television characters. Whether they're from a movie or a tv series, it's awesome ! And they can be heroic , lame, geeky, sexy, or a total slut for all I care. It's really all about what part of that character you take out and put in your reality.
Such as that bomb ass Samantha Jones (yeah that woman that loves to have sex ) she was once upon a time a lonely gal that still had to work hard and eventually got to where she wanted. Or let's go way back to one of my classic favorties. The bold and beautiful Nurse Jenny Lee (nurse chummy browne is my favorite too :) from the series Call the Midwife. Although she had already done the work to live her dream she still had to make many mental and emotional changes to actually enjoy waking up and smiling to deliver beautiful babies. If I told you all the amazing character's shoes I put myself in I'd be sitting behind this computer FOREVER.
I am not saying compare the fantasy to real life, just simply look at what part of these characters you  can put in you to find peace and a little laughter at the end of your day and the mornings you feel tired and fed up.
One more character I wanna leave you guys and gals with is the legendary Spongebob Squarepants :D

DIY #1

You ever wanted to make an clutch without so much work. without having to buy so much supplies with difficult directions ? Well lucky for you I've found a little way you guys to do it. I was just roaming Yahoo DIY'S (I'm totally addicted) and found this cool new trick.

Materials:- two 11 x 8-in faux leather rectangles
- black zipper
- dark thread

Tools:- leather or fabric glue
- needle
- scissors

Instructions:

1. Take your zipper and squeeze a plentiful amount of leather glue along the edge. Now wait a couple of minutes until your glue becomes completely transparent and fasten your first faux leather rectangle on top. Then repeat on the other side.

2. Now it’s time to glue the sides together. Take your leather glue and “draw” three lines along the left, bottom and right edges and let your glue dry for a while.

3. Open up your zipper.

4. Fold your upper part onto your bottom one and press firmly.

5. Just to be sure that everything will stay in place, hand stitch where the zipper meets the two leather pieces.

6. Cut the corners.

7. Turn your pouch inside out and voila, you’re done.

8. (optional) Complete the look with a pendant of your choice.

Nasty Gal grand opening !

SHOP TIL YOU DROP !

I was so super happy when I watched an interview with Sophia Amoruso and Vanity Fair and she said those magical words "We're opening our first store next month."
And yes that day was yesterday. I so wish I was there, it would have been a to die for moment and a moment I would have never forgotten about. This woman is like my Business idol. She's a bad ass woman that gets shit done and looking good at the same time. And I really love that she doesn't mind sharing her secrets and things she's learned over the time.
I enjoyed my view from the distance !

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

If there is anyone I love in Hollywood, It is definitely Jimmy Fallon. He never fails to make me laugh which is why I love watching him so much !
But as much as I'd love to write about Mr. Fallon, this post is about the beautiful Emma Watson and the awesome performance she did on his show two years ago. Yes I know it's old but it was so wonderful it's worth blogging about anytime. I most loved the floral dress by J. Mendal she wore. She was such a lady :)
